Church of Scientology New Links

Chris Owen on Scientology

There are two wildly conflicting versions of the life story of L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of the Church of Scientology, The first, promoted by the Church, is that he was an unfailingly honest, generous humanitarian whose profound insights have transformed the world. The second, propounded in its fullest form in Bare-Faced Messiah by Russell Miller, is that he was a pathological liar, a fraud consumed by greed and paranoia who sucked literally millions of people into an extraordinary fantasy world.

Ramstein The Air Disaster !

Crazy Crazy World ! Ramstien, an air disaster at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany 1988. Flugtag 1988. What was I doing then ? Playing in a Anarchist Hard Core Band in New York City and living with a tribe of Anarchists in Jersey City.

Anyway, I lost a few days on Ramstien delving into the details of the disaster and the shattered lives. If I had written about this last week I would have been more spooked and dark. Ronald Fuchs has an amazing website on the horror of that day.

Blog name change ?

I think I am going to change the name of this blog. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but now it is time for a rethink.

What a beautiful day, here by the green river. I was here with Michelle, Per, Corry and Lizzie. I had so much to do today, which I blew off to enjoy the summer heat in May.

Tomorrow is a holiday, Michelle is driving 8 hours round trip, I was thinking about goig, but the work needs doing. Our cat is fabulous, Ivan Boug Mao, so I better crash.
